About Tabitha Wilson – Founder of Rockstar Photography
Rockstar Photography’s founder, Tabitha Wilson is a nationally recognized photographer with over 15 years experience in the field. Her work has been published in many sports related mainstream magazines such as Sports Illustrated, ESPN, and Men’s Health & Fitness.

Tabitha fell in love with photography after taking a few photography courses in high school. She quickly started applying her new found hobby at friends' and families' athletic and social events. She continued her photography education while attending the University of Pittsburgh. While in college, she worked for both the campus newspaper and the athletic department, generating photo stories, newsletters and campaigns.

Upon receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Pittsburgh, she moved to Washington DC to work for a marketing and advertising agency. Over the next five years, she was given an opportunity to learn from some of the area's best photographers as well as work closely with clients such as Marriott, AAA, and Hershey.

She then moved to New York City area and began freelancing for sports productions and companies such as the NCAA, College Sports Television (CSTV), Princeton University , AVP Pro Volleyball, and Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). Over the course of three years, she traveled everywhere from Hollywood to Bulgaria on photo assignments.

She has also served as a fashion photographer for Prodigal Sport Clothing Company and has created portfolios for many professional and Olympic level athletes across the United States and Europe.

Since moving to Dallas in 2006, Tabitha has built a strong and diversified client base including portfolio work for many of the area's top professional talent, leading local commercial businesses, non-profit organizations, as well as becoming the preferred local choice for youth, family, senior and wedding photography services.
